Upstate Diversity Leadership Awards Dinner 2020

Sixteenth Annual Upstate Diversity Leadership Awards

Tuesday, November 17, 2020

Due to the continued concern for health and safety, the awards celebration will be a virtual event that will still take place on November 17. Specific details will be announced soon.

Hosted by the Greenville Chamber and the Riley Institute at Furman in partnership with Upstate Chambers, this annual event honors individuals, schools, and organizations who exhibit leadership in promoting diversity in the Upstate. To focus on the accomplishments of individuals and organizations championing diversity and inclusion in their communities, the awards ceremony will follow the same format as last year.

Co-hosts for the 2020 awards ceremony will be Juana Slade (Riley Fellow, Fall 2004), Director of Diversity at AnMed Health, and Kirby Mitchell (Riley Fellow, Spring 2006), the Managing Attorney at South Carolina Centers for Equal Justice.
Awards will be presented in the following six categories: Individual, High School Student, College Student, Business, Nonprofit, International, and K-12 school. Click here to view a list of past winners.
